The base oil fragrances from Scent Codes have no affiliation with the original Manufacturers or Designers. Our interpretation of these fragrances were created through reverse engineering, and the purpose of this description is to give the customer an idea of Scent Character, and not to mislead or confuse the customer. Our fragrances are inspired by the original tones and notes.



  • All shipping of products is conducted by a reputable Courier company. Scent Codes relies on the timing of the courier and thus we will deliver within 2-5 working days of purchase within South Africa.

  • We will quote separately for international deliveries.

Returns Policy:

  • Our products are beautifully packaged and of high quality. In the unlikely event you are not happy with your purchase and have not used the product, a full refund or exchange will be made after 7 days of purchase only.
  • Our policy lasts 7 days of the receipt of your purchase. If 7 days have gone by since your receipt of purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging
  • To return your product, you will be supplied with a return address. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
  • If you are shipping an item back to us. You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

 Refund Policy


  • Any refund is at the sole discretion of the Director's of Scent Codes
  • Any used product, will not be refunded.
  • To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase e-mail
  • There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, will not be refunded
  • Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery will not be refunded
  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a approximately 7 days.
  • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Exchanges (if applicable):

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at:  info@scentcodes.co.za
