Citrus Character

Citrus is the shortest-lived of the four and the most immediate. It arrives all at once — peel oil, cold water, something just cut — and for twenty minutes it is the only thing anyone notices.

What is left afterwards is the interesting part. Under the brightness these sit on musk and pale wood, so the fade is soft rather than sudden, and the last hours smell like clean skin.

Heat suits it. Summer, mornings, anywhere humid — the conditions that flatten heavier scents are the ones that make citrus travel.
